INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION COLLEGE
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION “KHARKIV VOCATIONAL COLLEGE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INDUSTRY” is a state institution within the vocational (vocational-technical) education system of the third accreditation level. It is subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and provides training for highly qualified workers in the fields of construction, electrical engineering, agriculture, and service industries.
December 1, 1940 – The Factory and Plant Training School No. 7 was established (Kharkiv, Kharkivskyi Lane, 1).
1963 – Renamed to City Vocational School No. 22.
2012 – Renamed to State Educational Institution “Kharkiv Vocational Lyceum of Construction Technologies.”
2019 – Renamed to State Educational Institution “Regional Center for Vocational Education of Innovative Construction and Industrial Technologies.”
February 4, 2025 – Renamed to Vocational (Vocational-Technical) Education Institution “Kharkiv Vocational College of Construction and Industry.”

ADULT EDUCATION

Training programs have been introduced for unemployed individuals in the field of electrical installation, specifically:
Electrician for Lighting and Lighting Networks, Grade 3. -
22 educational programs for partial qualifications have been implemented.

Over the past 5 years, vocational education and training for partial qualifications have been provided to 679 adults.

Courses for vocational training, retraining, and advanced training in 11 professions have been developed and officially licensed for adult learners.

“Master – Vocational Integration of Internally Displaced Persons”Implemented under the project “Identification, Motivation, Partial Qualification and Vocational Integration of IDPs in Eastern Ukraine” by bbw gGmbH, supported by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH, commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) (based on a memorandum of cooperation) – IMPLEMENTED in 2020.

Career Guidance Hub “No Limits”Aimed at promoting career development among youth in the Kharkiv region (within the Global Innovation Program of UNICEF’s USHIFT for youth economic education and entrepreneurship) – IMPLEMENTED in 2020–2021.

USHIFT Inclusive Dance Studio “Total Answer Dance”For the students of the institution and city youth, supported by UNICEF UKRAINE in the field of youth economic education and entrepreneurship – IMPLEMENTED in 2019.

Exchange Program with the Swedish Electricians’ Union (Elektrikerna)
In cooperation with the Ukrainian Construction Workers’ Union, a visit was organized for students of the electrician profession to a vocational school in Falköping, Sweden, to exchange knowledge and explore vocational education and union work – IMPLEMENTED in 2018. -
“Vocational Training in Energy Efficiency in Ukraine”Conducted as part of the “Vocational Qualifications” component of the project “Promoting Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine”, supported by GIZ on behalf of the Governments of Germany and Switzerland – ONGOING (2021–2025).
